Mission Statement

Rest.Q Animal Sanctuary provides care for a wide range of animals including meat-industry rescues such as battery hens, alpacas, and rabbits as well as difficult-to-place animals such as aggressive or self-abusing parrots and feral cats. In accordance with the highest standards in animal rescue/welfare, we do not breed or sell animals. Our primary aims as determined by our Board of Directors are:

• to provide permanent shelter to homeless and rescued animals;
• to provide temporary assistance to animals in need and to those assisting animals in need; and
• educate the local community and visiting tourists about responsible animal stewardship.
