We are predominantly a sanctuary, so the animals that come through our gates stay for the rest of their lives. Sometimes, however, we’ll bring in certain animals temporarily that we’re not able to house ourselves with the intention of finding them new, permanent homes, and sometimes we feel that a certain animal, given its temperament or the dynamics at the Sanctuary, will thrive better in a home environment.

In any adoption we do, Rest.Q stipulates that animals are returned to the sanctuary should a placement not work out and will take back animals years after adopting them out. We take our commitment to our rescues seriously.
